Cannot edit calendar appointments on iPad Pro after update

I just updated to IOS 26.2 on my Ipad pro. I can no longer edit an appointment in my calendar. There is no edit button visible anywhere. (Including upper RH corner, as was recommended by someone). Any hints?

iPad Calendar: Blank screen when swiping to next week I have the calendar on my iPad set to a week by week view. Occasionally when I swipe to next week it just shows a plain white screen. If I swipe again then the following week shows ok and if I swipe back then this week shows OK. I have to go back and forth several times until eventually it decides to show next week correctly. I estimate this happens about 1 in 5 times that I use the calendar, the other times it's fine.

When you tap on the appointment, what Calendar is shown as its home? (There should be a “Calendar” row displayed with the answer.) Is this a calendar you are permitted to edit?
