MS apps are currently compatible with macOS Sonoma, Sequoia and Tahoe.

Assuming you are asking about Office 365/MS 365, if it's already installed on your MBAir running Monterey (12.7.6) it remains completely usable although you won't get further updates. At this point MS updates are only provided for systems running Sonoma or later.
