Missing voicemail notifications after iOS 26.2 update

Since ios update to 26.2, i am facing several issues, the most annoying being that i have no more indications that i have messages in my voicemail.! As real estate broker, this has legal implications.

i understand that « phone functions » may no longer be an issue for most people scrolling their social media, but this is a very dramatic one for me.

i need to physically go to voicemail, yet no red dot telling me i have voicemails in there, connect, to ear thatvmy voicemail is full!

For those still using that feature, am i the only one or others also experienced this?

@Ianstrad1 @lanstrad1. I know what you mean and it has everything to do with 26.2.

Open your phone app, click the menu lines in the top right, select classic (rather than unified).

Classic is how it was before 26.2, with voicemail available as a menu option at the bottom and badge notifications showing on my home screen.

Unified buries the voicemail in the menu and the badges don't show on my home screen.

Hope that helps!

Lisa

Voicemail is phone carrier feature, let them know the legal implication it has on you.

Apple has nothing to do with it, and the fact the your voicemail is full could lead to the issue, but your phone carrier can confirm and fix the issue for you.

Also has absolutely nothing to do with ios 26.2
