Wallpaper image appears blurrier than the original photo

Wallpaper makes my image blurry. I made a Canva collage for my wall paper (used higher dimensions than needed, correct ratio, high quality images, high quality exported file) but every time I set it as wallpaper, the system makes the image blurrier than the original.

I'm not sure how to fix this

What matters for wallpaper is not the dimensions (e.g. inches) that the application lists for the image, but the total number of horizontal and vertical pixels in the saved image. If you right-click on the image and choose "Get Info", then look in the "More Info" section, the "Dimensions" property will show that actual pixel resolution of your image. That must be the same or greater than the resolution of your monitor or screen resolution to ensure that you will have quality results.

If your image is less than the native resolution of your device's screen, the go back to Canva and figure out how to export an image that has higher pixel dimensions.
