Just did the update for the latest IOS 26.2 after continuous "badgering" by apple - iPhone 13Pro. When it restarted it asks me to swipe up and swipe does not work anymore. Of course, an attempt to reboot also does not work because the slide to power off also does not work. Any suggestions? Never had this one happen before. Also have the apple watch ultra.

Saw your post - not helpful - I’ve owned iPhones since the launch and have never had this particular issue - the phone swipe function stopped working as the phone tried to reboot AFTER the iOS download. First poster linked me to how to reboot without swiping and that worked.

That worked, saved me a trip to the apple store! Thanks. Was able to reboot - not sure what went wrong - swipe is working again and new IOS is installed.

Same with my phone… immediately started after the current update and not sure how to contact Apple about it but Im about to change to Samsung because it’s just ridiculous.
