Receiving updates for deleted apps on iPhone 12 Pro Max

If Lightroom exists on another iPhone/iPad using the same Apple ID, it can still show up here.

Option 1: Refresh the App Store

• Open App Store
• Tap your profile picture
• Pull down to refresh the updates list

Sometimes that alone kicks it back into reality.

Option 2: Sign out & back in (most reliable)

1. Go to Settings → [your name]
2. Scroll down → Sign Out
3. Restart iPhone
4. Sign back in

This usually clears phantom updates.

What do you mean you’re receiving them? If you go to the Apple App Store and search the app, does it show Open, or a cloud icon indicating it needs to be downloaded?

The photo above indicates it was removed/deleted from my device and needs to be downloaded again.

What do the apps in question indicate?

I suspect you merely removed the apps from the Home Screens and they are still in the library.

Are they Apple apps or third party apps? Where are you seeing the updates? Do you have an Apple Watch paired with your iPhone?
