Mac mini not detecting iPhone as Continuity Camera
I'm attempting to use my iPhone as a camera for my Mac mini (both have OS 26.2 as of 26 Jan 2026). When I attempt to open Microsoft Teams or even Photo Booth after unlocking my phone and putting in landscape, I'm met with no options for a camera. All continuity and handoff settings are on across both items. It's like both my Mac mini and iPhone know that it's able to be used as a camera - my Mac just refuses to even try.
I've run through troubleshooting tips and even spoken with support via chat (which, to save everyone time, is just the troubleshooting guide as a guided walk through) and the only option available to me is to submit a ticket and wait two business days for a phone call (which I'm unable to use telephonic communication and require written communication).
Is there any senior support agent who could send a message or comment on here with what might be going on? As mentioned, I'm unable to speak on the phone (and sadly it's currently too cold to try and go an Apple Store for an issue that appears to be in the nothingness of AirPlay), but I hope to get this resolved before a job interview tomorrow morning.
