MacBook showing unexpected notifications; is it hacked?

How can I tell if my Mac book has been hacked? help please.

I have early onset dementia so please no tech talk but simple instructions/suggestions.

I keep getting notifications pinging up in the top right had side of my screen. They are varied but I have a new one today.

I don't have any protection on here as I was told I didn't need it.

I don't use this for business. Its emails, browsing, photos and editing using apple apps.

I have attached some copies of the messages that came up. They aren't there for long but Ive never clicked on them in case. But the fact they come up is a worry and don't know how to stop them.

I will be so grateful for any insight or help you can provide.

Please ignore A Dorris message. Bless her.

It is difficult to detect viruses from INSIDE your computer.

The idea that they can be detected from outside, without your pre-authorization. is laughable.

These sorts of messages are always a scam, to get you panic and do something less than prudent.

Modern Macs do not spontaneously get infected by viruses, but if you are not vigilant, you can authorize things that you will not like. Be skeptical.
