AW6 touch screen unresponsive after update

The touch screen of my AW6 stopped registering after I updated it to 26.2. It isn’t doing it 100% of the time. Usually when it happens it takes 1-2h for it to go back to normal.

The crown and the other button are working as expected and the watch renders the actions that they trigger.

I can’t associate it with hard usage. I reduced motion and transparency, hard restarting the watch sometimes work to temporarily fix the issue, removed all 3rd party apps, removed my screen protector, installed 26.2.1, reset the watch and I’m kind of out of ideas…

Sometimes when it freezes like this the battery drains really fast - 15% per hour. But this isn’t happening all the time.

My battery is at 78% health but as I said it isn’t connected to heavy use.

Does anyone have any ideas?
