The battery is failing and should have been replaced at your Apple Store Genius Bar when Battery Health dipped to 80%. All sorts of operation issues will result with a badly depleted battery.

Either pay the price to Apple to replace the battery or it's time to buy a new iPhone.

LD150 is correct in suggesting Battery Health was not affected by a software update. But you didn't give any necessary information to know if your Battery Health is in the normal range.

Please answer the following:

1. iPhone Model
2. Current Battery Health
3. Cycle Count

The battery health did not change, it cannot. However the new version may have calculated it differently.

Are Battery Health Drops Reported?:

Yes. Plenty have reported this on these forums. Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine why, for when, the Battery Health decreased. Note that the percentage is known to go up, as it is just guestimations.

Looks like it may be 80% very soon in which case get a new battery fitted by Apple
