Logic Stock instruments not appearing as options in instrument list?

Hello all, just recently got Logic 11 and it was all good - until I went to access Quick Sampler and it was nowhere to be found. I've now seen that I also don't have other stock instrument features like drums or other samplers (see screenshot)

Of note:

- This is on a new laptop so I hadn't upgraded a version that was already on this laptop.

- I did have Logic pro X on another computer, and migrated my projects to this new laptop. Those projects included Quick Sampler tracks. When I open those projects in Logic Pro 11, Quick Sampler is available (as the instrument in the channel rack, not to select from the instruments list)

Can anyone help me with this? Where are my missing Logic stock instruments? Do I need to re-download Logic? Thanks!

Thank you for your help - it turns out I didnt have to reinstall Logic, I just had to delete my instrument tags folder and let Logic create a new one.

Strange... this might be one of the rare cases where Logic needs to be re-installed. BTW, using the migration tool could cause some issues as old and incompatible elements may be transferred to a new computer.

I'm sorry, this is a bit unclear to me - how is the channel rack different than the channel strip? Though I think the issue is that Quick Sampler–or any logic stock instrument–is not showing up in any instrument selection drop down menu. Not when I add a new track (pictured), and not in the channel rack/channel strip.
