Do you think they could do that at an Apple store?
No. We have told you multiple times that that you (or anyone else) cannot do what you are asking. That answer will not change.
Are you thinking that if you keep asking the same question that the answer will change?
If you do not believe us, make an appointment and head on down to the Apple Store.

At this point, I need to erase all of the data, all of the applications, all of contacts, messages, everything and restore it all except the unauthorized "upgrade" that happened today. Do you think they could do that at an Apple store?
No, as a former Apple Store Manager I can tell you most assuredly, there is no going back. When your iPhone was updated, firmware was flashed onto chips in some of the subsystems and it cannot be undone. The old operating system cannot run on your device after its firmware was upgraded. You cannot undo a firmware update, you’d have to replace the chips.
You're now drastically increasing the odds of rendering your device inoperable and the cost to replace damaged components will cost more than the device is worth.
Old firmware is generally designed so it cannot be installed (flashed) over a newer version. You’d have to force it which usually results in firmware errors that cannot be fixed or overwritten (flashed again). This permanent damage cannot be undone and entire subsystems must be replaced.

If it was "flashed", why can't it be "unflashed" or "flashed back"? Doesn't Apple have something like Source Forge with each iteration of the operating system available for download?
