“Issue backing up iPhone to stransfer to another iPhone: My iPhone 15 pro was cracked and the back camera was exposing the internal components and I dropped it in alcohol on accident pulled it out and dried it now it turns off every 3 min. I have a back up phone and currently trying to back up my iPhone 15 but it won’t stay on long enough to complete the backup what can I do”

Resetting an iPhone Dropped in Alcohol:

This has become a Health Hazard. So, you should just let it be, and dispose of it properly.

A. Disable Services to It:

You’d need to remove the services from it. So, contact your Carrier, asking them to disable the eSIM card or SIM card on it.

B. Erasing this is Not a Safe Option:

As for erasing it, it’s not safe doing so, being this has become a Health Hazard. So, secure your credentials, and Erase a your iPhone in Find My. The erasure would be performs when connected to the Internet. If Find My was never set up in this, then I’d say you’re out of luck for hardware, and it is time for a new iPhone.

C. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option.
