How to transfer iTunes music from an old MacBook to iPhone?

I have a MacBook with no ability to Airdrop music to my iPhone because the MacBook is too old.

How do i get My music from ITunes to my iPhone?

i built my music collection from CD’s I owned.

Depends how old the MacBook is. If it has the Music app, you use Finder. If it is running iTunes, use iTunes. See details in here:

Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac - Apple Support

or

Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support


Also, note that getting music off the iPhone is not easy. So you must also make a backup of your MacBook on separate physical media such as a flash drive.
