If you are the podcast content creator:

If you are a podcast listener: This isn’t currently an option. However I would encourage you to provide your feedback directly to the podcasters; perhaps they will take your advice.

Personally, I just ignore the (remarkably inaccurate) feature. 🙃

Thank you, this was very helpful! Unfortunately seems like I’ll have to just ignore the inaccurate chapter titles going forward.

Hopefully in the future Apple makes this a feature that listeners can opt-out of! I’d much rather see the episode title at a glance than an arbitrary chapter title.
