I drowned my iphone 17 in sea water

i intentionally drowned my iphone 17 into salt water at the beach to take a video. after a week I recently seen while charging is says liquid detected. learning from website I came to know putting the charger back again gives override privilege. So I have been doing that for the past week. my phone is out of water and still got the liquid detected notification while charging. I have done water out procedures through third party apps. Has anyone been in a situation like this? will the phones port stop working in the long run?

That's a bit like saying that you set ten $100 bills on fire in order to use them as kindling in a fireplace.

You'd be lucky if it was "only" the port that stopped working. Salt water is highly destructive of electronics, and that phone is likely "dead, but just doesn't know it yet."

P.S. - If the phone still works, and you have not backed up and/or synchronized your data to iCloud yet, the time to do this is now. Hopefully you can at least preserve your data, for restoration to your next phone.
