Bluetooth devices disconnecting from iPhone 16 Pro Max

I’ve seen many post about the 16 pro max Bluetooth disconnecting periodically and being unable to reconnect without a reset. Has Apple found a way to fix this?

Not sure where you are seeing these posts, but AFAIK, Apple has not officially announced that this is an issue, and as such, has not posted any potential solutions.


That said, the pattern I’ve seen is: for most folks the problem improves after doing a full cleanup of the Bluetooth pairing history (especially if the accessories were previously paired to an older iPhone). If you took the time to perform a search in the Support Communities, you would find the common working fix is: Reset Network Settings + forgetting and re-pairing Bluetooth devices,.


And if this happens with car Bluetooth, it often helps to also delete the iPhone from the car’s saved devices list, then re-pair from scratch.


Finally, if it still keeps happening even after that, then it’s time for you to contact Apple Support directly for further assistance with this issue.
