How do I filter disturbing content on YouTube?

The following trick works on iPhone:

When you open any page (except the launch page) on YouTube, tap the 3 dots in the upper-right corner of the screen.

1. From the menu that appears, tap Settings.
2. Tap General to expand the options.
3. Tap Restricted Mode to toggle it on.
4. Tap the left facing arrow ( ← ) next to Settings in the upper-left corner of the screen to go back.
