How to remove Youtube End Screen on Apple TV

Youtube end screens can sometimes obscure the end of a video by covering up much of the screen when i want to continue watching the video to the end. The NFL highlight videos are especially egregious in this regard. I understand that it is possible to get rid of the end screen when watching using a browser adblock extension (haven’t tried it) but I don’t see how to do the same thing on the Apple TV’s youtube app.

is there a solution?

With the YouTube app on Apple TV box, such controls are not available. You can stream from Mac, to have the advantage of browser extensions, but that is not the convenience of TV-operated apps.
