Siri won't respond to 'Hey Siri' on my iPhone 17

Why wont siri respond to hey siri , it is literally how I find my phone often I need it HELP!!!! Lol I have looked at all the settings and everything is correct but still not working and it is updated to the latest iOS version available to my phone. It is a 17.
