Keynote v15 breaks LiveSlides functionality

I use the PollEverywhere app to get the (previous) LiveSlides functionality in my Keynote lectures. This way I can do polls with my students during the lectures (quizes and such to see if the students understand the matter), without having to leave Keynote. Our university uses another poling programme (Wooclap) but with the LiveSlides functionality this works fine.

It works such that I have to have both the PollEverywhere and Keynote open, and the slides in Keynote are a placeholder with a link in the presenter notes.

Keynote v15 breaks this functionality. PollEverywhere no loner recognises Keynote as Keynote (this is something they probably have to fix), and my previous presentations with polls no longer work. When presenting, only the placeholder is visible.

Does anyone maybe have a solution for this? For now I'll stick with Keynote v 14.5 (not a fan anyway of all the screen real estate being devoted to getting me to sign up for the paid programme) but at one point this may no longer be possible and 14.5 will be deprecated. Is apple doubling down on any innovative feature they themselves did not invent? Or is this now an 'apple' feature, but only in the paid version (so actively making it impossible to use LiveSlides/PollEverywhere)?

It does seem that PollEverywhere is not (yet), at least in part because it's looking for an app named 'Keynote', and does not recognize "Keynote Creative Studio" as the same thing.

I assume this is something that the authors are aware of, and will address in due course. Since Creative Studio/Keynote 15.1 is only a few days old, they probably haven't yet had time to address this.
