How to stop U.K. spelling corrections

Selected language is “English” and yet I get U.K. spelling suggestions and talk to text is U.K. How can I stop this on my iPhone? I did stupidly change at one point to U.K. English but changed it back quickly…U.K. spelling still overrides regular English!

If I search for English (US) it will come up checked, but that's not what's happening with autocorrect or spelling. It's coming up with UK spellings! Help! It's annoying!

Turning on English Spelling Corrections when ur Iphone is set to a different language Hello fellow Apple users, I have my iPhone set to Dutch (I am Dutch), and the spelling correction suggestions for Dutch work just fine. I want to also have spelling corrections for English though. I’ve turned English on in my settings but there seems to be no option to turn English correction suggestions on. I’ve tried everything that the internet suggests but can’t seem to find a solution. My English is alright but I still sometimes spell some words wrong or don’t know the correct spelling so I’d like my iPhone to suggest the correct spelling like it does for me in Dutch. If someone knows how to help me out with this, then I would be very grateful! (A few years ago Apple Support had a live chat I could ask questions to when absolutely neccesary but they removed this?)

How do I change the Apple Store webpage language to English? hello, I am visiting Amsterdam and prior to going to the Apple store I am looking at the store web page, but it is in Dutch...how do I change to English?

Go to settings / general / keyboard / keyboards / add new keyboad and put English US on the list and remove everything else

We don't know where you changed it, try this first How to use Auto-Correction and predictive text on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support (UK)

then Change the language on your iPhone or iPad – Apple Support (UK)

I am tempted to say leave it and enjoy correct English spelling but I guess you prefer US 😊
