Why is my Apple Cash purchase being declined?

We recently just set up the Family Sharing for Apple Cash, but every time I try to make a purchase, it keeps getting declined—whether it be from the Apple Store or elsewhere. This red text keeps popping up: When setting up the Family Sharing, it didn’t ask me anything for verification. When I try to verify through the Wallet app, I can’t find anything to verify my identity.

My Apple Cash is definitely in my Apple Wallet, so it confuses me because it keeps saying that. I’ve been dealing with this for a week now. Turning Apple Cash on and off doesn’t work either.

The only thing I can do right now is send or receive cash through messages. Edit: Oh, and I’m also on iOS26, if that helps. Thank you!
