Does Page's update 15.1 affect the Grammarly app?
I updated Pages to 15.1, and now my Grammarly App won't work properly. It cannot find any text when I type. Is there a compatibility problem? How do I fix this?
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.6

Grammarly 9.96.0 was last updated Jan 13. It still reports as (1.150.0.0) on its Settings panel though. This version is not working with Pages v15.1, though it is active in a Word 16.105.2 document. I do not have a Grammarly account that I sign into since I am SPAM averse.
There is no user fix. Grammarly will need to update their application to work with Pages v15.1, and provided they choose to do so, any timeframe would only be known by Grammarly.
Your profile shows macOS 15.6. That is the first version of Sequoia to support Pages v15.1. Unless you have already done so, I recommend that you update to Sequoia v15.7.3 via System Settings > General > Software Update. On that panel scroll past the Tahoe upgrade section and you will see where you can just update Sequoia.
Tested: macOS Sequoia v15.7.3, Tahoe 26.2.1
You are entirely dependent upon the Grammarly product team evaluating why their Mac product no longer works with Pages v15.1 and if/when an update is to be released for that resolution. Only they know the timeframe.

I'm not sure what whoever told you that meant. Grammarly, as a product, is certainly intended to work on Macs. They have both a dedicated Mac app and a Safari extension.
Grammarly recommends that you download the app. Have you tried that?
I have the free Grammarly for Mac version that was last updated in Jan 2026. I purposely do not have a Grammarly account. The free version presently does not work with Pages v15.1. Maybe this is a Grammarly ploy to drive people to the Pro version… 🙃

Good to be aware of the difference. Thanks. There are lots of good reasons for not having a subscrption.

Considering no one has Grammarly for Mac working with Pages v15.1, your "It's working for me now" post does not explain how you managed to get it working in this version of Pages?
It works for me. But, as noted, I have the desktop app installed. I also have the Pro version of Grammarly.

It's possible that Grammarly released an update. I didn't test it yesterday.
I use Pages and Grammarly for my work, so I am hoping this is just a needed update on Grammarly’s part, and not an Apple blocking Grammarly business decision.
Is there a way to redownload the old Pages app?

As Grammarly is working fine in Safari, I highly doubt that Apple has done anything to block it.
I'm having the problem with Grammarly also. It works in Apple Mail. I don't use it in Safari. Grammarly has next to no support and chat says they don't support Apple. I bought it because it did and I recently paid for my subscription again.
You will be greeted by a Grammarly sign-in panel after clicking the Get Grammarly for Mac button at the link. Until you satisfy this screen, you will not be able to get Grammarly for Mac. We used to be able to get the Grammarly for Mac app without this filtration nonsense, but no longer.

That I can't speak to. I downloaded it ages ago and don't remember the process. But my more important point was that Grammarly, as a product, is supported on Macs. So, I don't know what the poster meant by "chat says they don't support Apple."
Of course, the chat in question could be an AI and we know how trustworthy they are.

Once you delete Pages v14.5, the only way to get it back is from a Time Machine backup. It is now an obsolete version that will never receive further updates.
Why do you think it was foolish to delete v14.5? Pages v15.1 is not subscription, unless you optionally make it so from its application menu in-app purchase.
