iPad keyboard pops up while using Bluetooth keyboard so I can’t see what I’m typing.

IPad keyboard pops up when I’m using my Bluetooth keyboard. It has worked great in the past, with no issues. Suddenly, it’s not working. I tried turning everything off, disconnecting, etc. That didn’t fix it, so I bought a new keyboard but I’m having the same issue. Has this happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?

I have had the same issue with my iPad Pro Gen 6 with the Magic Keyboard. I tried cleaning the connections, disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard ... neither worked. I would still randomly find the screen keyboard blocking the screen, even when the Magic Keyboard was properly attached.

Fortunately, the latest update to 26.2.1 seems to have resolved the issue. Please make sure your OS is at the latest version, then restart the iPad.
