Has anyone figured this out yet? I can right click the large bookmark square and then delete it but that also deletes the bookmark. It is very annoying. Apple, are you listening as well? Help get rid of this.

That Square will open the Sidebar in Safari
Or and as has been mentioned " Right Click " ( Secondary Click )

Tested using a M4 Desktop running Tahoe 26.2 and Safari version Version 26.2 (21623.1.14.11.9)
If you are referring to the bookmarks displayed on the Start Page in Safari, there is a mall Edit button at the bottom right corner. Editing the page is very limited, however.

I do not see that as an option for me in View. This is what I have.
