MacBook Air is stuck on the Apple logo

My MacBook Air is stuck on the apple logo, I’ve tried absolutely everything and nothings working, it happened when it had died and I used a different charger to try and charge it up but then it just got stuck on the apple logo, I left the laptop on to die and it let me know it needed charging and it makes the noise when I plug the charger in, but doesn’t go any further, please help

Please tell us about your MacBook Air.

Is it Apple Silicon or is it an Intel cpu?

What year is it?

Do you know which macOS it is running?

Shut it down.

Then try starting up in recovery mode.

If you can do that you may be able to Disk Utility's First Aid to repair the startup drive.

The MBA Retina, 13-inch 2020 is an Intel-based Mac (not Apple Silicon).

You need to start up in recovery using the instructions for an Intel-based Mac in the document I linked previously.

❝Press and release the power button to turn on your Mac, then immediately press and hold these two keys on your keyboard: Command (⌘) and R. Keep holding them until you see an Apple logo or spinning globe.❞

If you cannot coax the Mac to boot into recovery, then you should probably set up an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider.

You can make a Genius Bar appointment for hardware/software service and support using this link: Contact Apple Support - Apple Support
