There are various ways in which a Mac could work with an iPhone 16 Pro Max, especially if

  • Both are logged into the same Apple Account, and you are using iCloud synchronization or various Continuity features
  • You have plugged the iPhone into the Mac to manage it with the Finder or iTunes (which will likely cause the iPhone to ask if it should trust the Mac)
  • Both are connected to the same e-mail account (including associated calendars) or third-party cloud service

In some of those cases, charges made on the Mac would show up on the iPhone and vice versa, even though the Mac does not have direct access to the iPhone (synchronization being through the cloud).

So what are you asking about?

Under devices displaying different sessions in a lot of cases it states that a computer/laptop Mac is somehow using my apps, email addresses, and getting on other apps. Even erasing all of my Facebook friends.

Under devices where? Note that many services, including Facebook, are not able to detect your device because Apple is not telling them, so what they do is try to guess what it is. They use a process called "fingerprinting" that give them limited information about your connection and try to determine what device you are using.

If someone is able to erase your Facebook friends, it is because they know your Facebook password. Changing the password would solve that problem and your device is not compromised.
