Connecting iPhone 15 Pro Max and MacBook

Have a iPhone 15 pro max (apple account), I have an older MacBook Pro laptop using another apple account , how can I connect the two?

Connect them to do what exactly? What are you trying to accomplish?


You can physically connect them with a USB-* cable to sync content using the Finder (iTunes if the Mac is running macOS Mojave or earlier).

Beyond that, things like Handoff, and other Continuity features require both devices to be logged in to the same Apple Account.

Things like Airdrop can work directly.
