TV sign-in failed after QR code and online attempts

My tv in my bedroom will not let me sign in, can you tell me why when I have done everything, scanned the QR code, signed in and put on the web. Nothing works. It says to check my internet connection. My internet connection is fine.

Apple TV model A1469 wifi issues I have an older Apple TV model A1469, that does not recognize my wifi. I get an error message (-100) indicating my password is not recognized. I have done a reset and I get the same message. It “sees” all my wifi accounts but indicates password is wrong. Is there a master reset? I have done the reset from the menu and it says all setting will be erased, but it does not allow me to reset the wifi?? at a loss here for direction

Make sure that the device that you are using is on the same network as the Apple TV and not using a VPN. You may also want to temporarily disable iCloud Private Relay.
