A Bit of a Tale:

My 2017 MacBook Pro's screen flickered, and I had to send it in 11 times, drone the days of COVID. Beings so patient of a customer, and having worked on it for over 100 hours over-the-phone (because local Apple Stores were inaccessible), I was granted a $2,500 upgrade for no more than the price of an AppleAcre Purchase.

I have already taken it to the authorised service centre in which they made a diagnostic test on it

And it mentions minor scratch on external display because of regular use , internal display has single hairline crack , no liquid detection , all sensors & stuff r working fine .On review of condition they mentioned : basically looks like new .

It wasn’t not contacted to power supply , all of a sudden screen flickered & got a single hairline crack on external display

Although everything was covered under Apple care plus , but I have seen many more case with these specific models, M1,M2 & their pro versions .

and it’s been monitored & mentioned in many cases that even after the display replacement the problem kept occurring for few people ( a lot of videos & reviews on discussion form & YouTube )

Now my concern is it happened to me once what if it happens again to me after my care plus expires then what do I do . It would cost me around 700+ £
