Thunderbolt 1 adapter for Pegasus R4 on M4 Mac

I have an older Thunderbolt 1 accessory, specifically a Promise Pegasus R4 hard drive enclosure, and I recently upgraded to an M4 iMac with two USB-C ports. I have upgraded the hard drives over the years in my enclosure, and I store a lot of work documents and files on the drive, as they would quickly fill up any internal drive on the Mac.

Is there an adapter that I can get to connect my Pegasus R4 to the new iMac? Or perhaps to my MacBook Pro? It's also an M4 (albeit the "M4 Pro" variety), with three USB-C ports. I thought I had read somewhere that the new Macs are compatible with Thunderbolt, but I must have been mistaken...

Not compatible? Nonsense. Apple was the first to use Thunderbolt and helped develop the technology. Of course the new Macs are compatible with Thunderbolt up to and including Thunderbolt 5

You need Apple’s Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. The original Thunderbolt connector was the same as the Mini Display Port. Starting with Thunderbolt 3 it became a USB-C connector.
