Apple Health Medication reminds/schedule consistently gives me an incorrect reminder for a medication that I have scheduled for Every OTHER Day. For some reason, Health will intermittently tell me to take this medication on consecutive days. Someone could get seriously injured if they rely on the health apps medication schedule and reminders. Is there a way to fix this or does it require a future update? (iPhone iOS 26.2.1)

This is happening to me, frustrating to see how long it’s been going on. To fix it I have to go into edit schedule, edit the start date, don’t actually change anything but click the check sign. Then it moves to the correct date. It’s very annoying with several medications set to every other day.
It would be great if I could count on the reminder to be correct. It is difficult to remember when last taken a medication which is scheduled other than every day. The best you can do is log a day when the reminder comes up then open the app the next time you get a reminder and check each medication logged to be sure you logged or did not log the previous days. Basically a pop up reminder to check all your medications 😕
Not exactly. I have noticed that if you leave the app open in the background, the next time you open it, it will stay on the previous date, so I make sure to always close the app & triple check the date. But I’m still reliant on my recurring reminder set in the reminders app.

I have memory issues and am worried that I might forget when I last took my every other day meds which are ones that you can overdose on
I'm having the same issue! Glad it's not only me. I have mine set to every 3 days and sometimes it'll remind me 2 days in a row, sometimes every second day, and sometimes not until 4 days! It's very rare that it correctly reminds me on the third day. This option really shouldn't be offered if it's not working as should be
