Some movies purchased on Apple TV listed as not purchased.

Hello all. I have a Samsung TV and iPhone 8, and an extensive library of purchased movies on Apple TV (over 400). A lot of them are no longer accessible - the titles are in the library, but I cannot play then, and am given the option simply to add them, or subscribe to the service that streams them. I have reset the Apple TV app on the Samsung. Oddly, there is no way to access my library on my Dell laptop - Apple TV only displays its titles, not my library. Any help appreciated.

On the Dell, are you accessing this through a web browser (tv.apple.com) or the iTunes application? The web interface is very limited and often doesn't display the Library tab correctly. I'd suggest installing iTunes for Windows just to verify if the movies appear there.

For the playback issue, check if the purchases were accidentally "Hidden." You can't check this on the TV itself. You need to go to iTunes on your PC (or the Music app on a Mac), go to Account > View My Account, and look for the Hidden Purchases section. If they are stuck there, they won't play on the Samsung app.

Update: I uninstalled Apple TV on both my TV's and then it worked on both again

I have also just lost access to my entire library. Last time this happened, Apple told me I had hidden my movies, which I had not.
