AirPods Pro 3 Optimized Charging stopped after adding Pro 2

I've been using Charging Optimisation on my AirPods Pro 3's without issue up until Christmas. I then added my other half's AirPods Pro 2's to my phone to update the firmware, and now Charging Optimisation does not work on my AirPods Pro 3's.

I've tried everything to try and get it working again, apart from removing the AirPods Pro 2's, which I don't want to do. She uses them on an Android and I've turned off Charging Optimisation on them as they always charge to 100% regardless.

My usage habits haven't changed, and it's been over a month and they still charge to 100% every time, regardless of how long I use them for.

Has adding the AirPods Pro 2's completely broken my Charging Optimisation on my 3's? They are supposed to be separate but I won't rule it out. Or is this a bug with the latest iOS or AirPods firmware?

It finally kicked back in, this time I let them drain to 50% and it’s now holding at 80% like it used to. I’ve let them drain to 60-70% for weeks though, very frustrating that it took this long to kick back in.

Please just give us the option to limit charging on our AirPods, we should be able to control this option and not have it decided for us. The algorithm being used is obviously rubbish, and causes unnecessary frustration.
