Despite Apple ID Hotmail now only working on my MacBook Pro.
I have reset the password on my Hotmail account which is now working normally on my MacBook Pro but appears still locked on my iPhone 12?

IF you can't update the password on your iphone 12 in mail settings, then delete and re-add the account with the new password.
