Thumb drive adapter not working with 2023 MacBook Air
2023 MacBook Air running Tahoe--I have an adaptor to connect the thumb drive to the laptop. This has always worked in the past, but not now.
What changed?

The adapter could be worn out or just faulty.
It could also be the thumb drive itself. They are not the most robust devices around and some brands, especially the "off brands" or "rebrands".
Presumably the OS. When I have a multi-page doc to print I put it on a thumb drive and take it to a printer. Did so yesterday, on multiple thumbs, and they all read as having "no file."
