Unable to print emails after updating iPad to iPadOS 26.2 and then 26.2.1.

my iPad updated to 26.2 and then to 26.2.1. I have lost the ability to print off emails when I’ve needed to. Fortunately I stopped my iPhone from updating. Never again. There is a clumsy work-around but it only prints in a long tiny column which is also unusable. (Screen-shot, enlarge to full screen and print: don’t)

is anyone else having this problem?

I’ve left a note for Apple but even their agent didn’t know what to do and thought my page was the same as usual. It isn’t. Fortunately my folks on the ground here are looking at the problem. Unfortunately we are 5.5 hours away from a Geek store.

My reply above relates to iPad - and yes, it does work with iPhone as well...

For iPhone, the process is just the same - but due to the smaller screen, it is perhaps slightly less clear.

Having tapped the reply icon the show the available actions (per your screenshot), you will initially see just the top of the extended menu. Swipe-upwards from the top-edge of illustrated menu (from just above the row of four buttons that you see at the top of your screenshot).

As I mentioned, that menu option does get one to a print screen but it is tiny and prints only in a column that is impossible to read.

and why do we have to go to the trouble - screenshot, dropdown, unreadable print - when it was So easy and efficient before?

Having struggled through this for a couple of weeks now, I am finding Some - not all - of my emails have an option for reply/print (as of old) at the bottom right end of the email - but only if I really struggle to get there, and sometimes only if I have hit reply first.

I think if Apple doesn’t fix this, it will be my last apple product because, really? Enough with the. Updates. Once and done.
