Display sleeps too often, requires PW to wake

How can I avoid having to enter password to wake up sleeping display every time? (touch pad has never worked)

"Prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off" is enabled in Energy settings. I'm not seeing all the options shown in online Mac User Guide for Lock screen.

Are you seeing a grayed out "Immediately" in the Lock Screen Settings..?

If so, then the default setting for the iPhone Mirroring App is preventing you from changing that setting.



To fix, open the iPhone Mirroring App on your iMac and change the setting to "Ask every time"

Then go back to the Lock Screen Settings and re-set a Time or set to Never.
