How to resolve 'App Store authentication failed' for Logic Pro 12 upgrade on two Apple ID accounts?

LOGIC PRO 12 ISSUE!! The application cannot be used because the App Store authentication failed or noNetwork is available.Please check the App Store

is anyone else having this issue? I have two apple ID accounts, and logic pro is in my old account so everytime there is an upgrade, i would always log in to download it. FOR SOME REASON LOGIC PRO 12 isnt allowing me to do this anymore? there is NO WAY this is their way to make me purchase another logic on my current active apple ID! I really hope this is a bug and Apple will FIX IT SOON! I need this urgent because i have a lot of work to do!

As it says, you have to be logged in on the original Apple ID account Logic was purchased with. You can't switch to one, upgrade, and then switch to the other. You could turn on Family Sharing and put both Apple IDs in that share. My question is why did you create a new Apple ID to start with?

Contacting Apple Support would be my best bet. However, some users have solved it by signing out, then signing in to their Apple Account / AppStore.
