Problem with camera on iPhone 16e updated to iSO 26.2.1

Problem with camera on iPhone 16e updated to iSO 26.2.1. I just updated the iOS to the liquid glass iOS 26.2.1 and I can't figure out how to get the camera to work. (there is only one camera on the 16e) I select the camera icon and it starts up and briefly shows me the image I want to take a picture of but then picture goes fuzzy and nothing I do gets it to take a picture. Help!

The iPhone 16e has 2 cameras. One facing the back and one facing the front at the top.

Are you opening this icon?:

If so, when it opens there should be a big white circle at the bottom of the screen. That is the shutter button used to take the picture. Does that not work? Does tapping it not do anything?

What happens if you tap on the circle of arrows on the bottom right corner of the screen?

Does it not switch to the front camera? If it does, does it then let you take a picture?

If nothing works, within the camera, or it locks up when it blurs, you may want to try restarting the iPhone and trying again.
