Tahoe does have a bug Find My not recognized


Your Mac is current..

the stable release of Tahoe including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 26.2

You can try resetting the TCC Database (Transparency, Consent, and Control) database becomes inconsistent,


reset permissions related to both your System & iCloud services.


From the Terminal.app copy and paste:

tccutil reset SystemPolicySysAdminFiles && tccutil reset SystemPolicyAllFiles


No immediate change—shut down and restart to compare your results...

>Shut Down



Another possibility boot into Recovery, to start security utility, and checked/confirmed security settings.

If no resolve

I would call Call Customer Support (800) MY–APPLE (800–692–7753) and let them run this up the chain of command for some resolve.
