iPhone 14 pro max dead after iOS update

I am extremely disappointed with Apple’s service regarding my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

After updating to iOS 26, my phone suddenly stopped working completely. It does not turn on, vibrate, or respond. Before this update, it was working perfectly fine.

At the authorized service center, I was refused proper support just because my back glass is broken. This damage existed earlier and never affected the phone. The device became dead only after your software update.

This is clearly a software-related issue, yet Apple is avoiding responsibility. For a premium brand, this level of service is unacceptable.

I request Apple to urgently resolve this matter by repairing or replacing my device without extra charges. If not resolved, I will be forced to approach consumer forums.

I trusted Apple for quality and reliability, but this experience has been very disappointing. anyone having same issue please let me know.

What you’re wanting is the legal definition of betterment. You’re not entitled to free repair or replacement of your broken back glass.

Apple cannot properly examine your device until the preexisting damage is removed and in the process cannot reinstall the damaged back. Authorize the repair of the preexisting damage and Apple can examine the device and determine the extent and nature of the nonfunctional iPhone.
