iCloud syncing causes Pro Tools to load slow

macOS iCloud Optimize Storage is offloading Pro Tools session files in my Documents folder. When Pro Tools opens a session, sometimes it has to re-download files from iCloud, which causes delays and occasional errors.

I want to keep using iCloud syncing, but I need a way to mark a specific folder so macOS always keeps those files stored locally. Is there a supported way to exclude a folder from Optimize Storage or force permanent local copies?

Mac mini, macOS 26.2
