I have a 2019 MBP running Tahoe 26.2 with a 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 processor. I have started having issues waking the MBP from sleep. I open it, and the screen stays black. I have to fiddle with the keys, open and close it, or remove and insert the power cord to get it to wake. Any suggestions?

Thank you. I tried this, although my MBP didn't act as the directions indicated (it started up without my having to press the start key). I realize that I am hearing the "startup" sound while I am using the laptop, which is weird. I will see how it works now.
