iPhone 16e keeps reverting to default alarm sound after updating to iOS 26
After updating to iOS 26, my iPhone 16e keeps reverting to the default alarm sound (Radial), despite my having repeatedly set it to Radar. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

A corporate profile installed on your iPhone could potentially be contributing to the inaccessibility of certain features.
Here's why:

Additional points to consider:
By working with IT and considering these possibilities, you can hopefully identify if the corporate profile is the culprit and find a solution that allows you to use the iPhone to your liking.

The alarm sound issues are not always the iOS update's fault! Many things can cause phone problems. If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.
Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.
Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

Thank you, but I did not attribute or even suggest the alarm issue was the direct result of the update; I merely said the problem appeared after having performed the update. This is a personal iPhone. What settings other than the same procedure I initially set the alarm sound prior to the update would there be? When I first got the phone only months ago, I had no trouble setting the alarm sound or making any other settings, and those settings held fast. I call your attention to the attached screenshot of a Google search I performed before posting my question here (note the dates). One of the suggestions is to ensure "Attention Aware Features" is disabled. That feature is disabled on my phone. I am by no means a computer or Mac "expert," but I have been a Mac user since 1989 (for professional audio recording and production), and have experienced my share of glitches before – some after having performed OS updates, one of which stumped even Apple techs. So, why this alarm setting isn't being retained is puzzling to me.
