Unable to download from financial accounts on 2014 laptop
I can no longer download from two financial accounts that I've always downloaded from in the past. I have a 2014 laptop that still gets updates so that's all current.

None of the 2014 Mac laptops can run anything later than macOS 11 (Big Sur). Big Sur is not current. Apple just released an update for it to let iMessages and FaceTime continue working after January of next year, but
- Big Sur is five versions behind the current version of macOS, Tahoe.
- Big Sur no longer gets the latest versions of Safari. (Safari Release Notes | Apple Developer Documentation appears to indicate that Big Sur got Safari 17.*, but not Safari 18.* or the current Safari 26.*).
If bank Web sites are telling you that your browser is out of date, you may want to download Firefox. The current version of it will run even on Catalina. Most other third-party browsers now require Monterey or later, and would therefore not be an option for your machine.
