Magic Trackpad settings unavailable on Ventura for gestures

I just bought a new magic trackpad and am trying to set it up. I can use it and it shows as connected in with the bluetooth, but I want to set up the scrolling and gesture options (such as three fingers to swipe between windows, etc.). The trackpad doesn't show in the settings and when I search for it, I receive the following message: "You can’t open the “Trackpad” settings pane because it is not available to you at this time." What do I do?

I have a desktop that I just updated to Ventura 13.7.8.
