MacOS True Black Dark Mode

Is there a way to change my Mac Apple Notes dark mode to match my iPhone? I like the true black background on my phone instead of the darker grey on my Mac.

The display technology is different between Macs and the Super Retina XDR (e.g. OLED) display used in the current iPhone 17 Pro Max phones (as an example). That OLED display delivers "true black" and that is not a function of any user setting.

If or until Apple chooses to release future Macs with OLED display technology, the best you can hope for on the Mac is slight refinement of that present darker gray by experimenting with different color profiles in your Displays setting, or the contrast adjustment in the Accessibility > Displays.
