iPhone is locked and Apple ID is unknown








My mother-in-law has locked herself out of her iPhone, and we are unsure of the Apple ID. We have her phone number, but the phone is locked. What can we do?

You’ll first need to try and figure out the Apple ID info she used. See If you forgot your Apple Account primary email address or phone number - Apple Support


If you can’t and she’s the original owner she can submit proof of ownership to Apple and request they remove it. See https://al-support.apple.com/#/additional-support and https://al-support.apple.com/#/al/agreement
